Hi, I'm Tom Ahl, 2nd generation owner of the Tom Ahl Family of Dealerships.
After 60 years in the car business, I'm as passionate as ever! I love to buy and sell cars! I love to find specials cars for our special customers.My wife, Andrea and I have 4 girls, 10 grandkids. Through the trials of raising the girls and trying to get the business going, I came to the realization of the need for a Savior. While finding business success, I found emptiness in my life. In 1988 I asked Jesus to be my Lord and Savior. After going through a few years of thinking I needed to get into the ministry, I came to the realization that my best and only testimony that mattered was how I treated my employees and how we all treated our customers. God does own it all and has proven to me that the principles are true.It is my desire for you to see how God can change a life and a business and that your experience will be different and exciting. I have proudly been employed at Tom Ahl Family of Dealerships since 1990. I began my career here as an automotive technician. After seven years of working as a technician, I became a Service Advisor then the Service Manager. In 2001 I was offered the position of Service Parts Director. In 2005 I was offered the job of being the General Manager of the Tom Ahl Buick GMC store. A few years later, I also took on the roll of General Manager for the Tom Ahl Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram store. I am currently the General Manager of both of these stores.
I enjoy riding my Harley in my spare time. I am happily married to my lovely wife, Amy and we have two amazing children together. We enjoy going on vacation in Dale Hollow and spending time on our boat.

I began my automotive career in 1985 as a lot porter at Bill Ahl Buick. A year later I became a Service Advisor at the Buick store and stayed in that position for two years. Immediately after I was a Service Advisor, I became the Assistant Used Car Manager at the Buick store. In January of 1989, I became the Used Car Manager of the Chrysler store. In 2004, I took the position of the Used Car Director of all of the Tom Ahl Family of Dealership stores.
I most of all enjoy spending time with my loving family. I am happily married to my lovely wife, Misty and I have four wonderful children. My family and I enjoy vacationing in the Outer Banks. Additionally, I like watching sports, especially football and soccer.
I was born and raised in Lima, Ohio and am a proud graduate of Elida high school. I currently support Shawnee Schools, as my children strive to get their education from there.

While I'm originally from Oregon I'll always call southeastern Ohio my home. After 13 years in Fairfield county I moved to Allen county in July of 2017 and started working for Tom shortly thereafter. I worked in detail for 4 years until July of 2021 when they offered me a position in sales. I enjoy listening to audiobooks and music, spending time outdoors, and just learning about everything I can. I'm very passionate about motorsports and the automotive industry. I love getting to know people and helping them with their automotive needs.

Steve Bales became employed with our company in 1988 when we were known as Bill Ahl. He worked at Bill Ahl Buick as a Service Manager until 2002. Steve came back to our company as a Service Manager at the Tom Ahl Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram Hyundai service department. As of May 2017, Steve is now the Wholesale Manager for Tom Ahl Family of Dealerships. Before his career at our dealership, Steve worked as an automotive technician for fourteen years.
Steve likes to go camping and water skiing with his family. He enjoys spending the time with his son and his lovely wife.

I've been working here at Tom Ahl's since 1987, the last 23 years as parts manager. Prior to that I worked in the aftermarket parts world since I was 15. I constantly challenge myself and my team to give our customers the best experience they possibly can when they're in need of repair parts or shopping for accessories. I want you to think of us in a positive light whenever the need for our services arises.

Hello, my name is Alan and I have been working at Tom Ahl Family of Dealerships since 2001. I started out at the Buick store in their parts department. In 2009, I came over to the Chrysler parts department. I grew up in Kalida, Ohio and have been here ever since.
Some of my interests include walking my dog around Kalida and being a part of the Kalida Fish and Game Club. I am currently the secretary of this club.
